tiffehr: Ah, the coveted three-part unsubscribe form. With an alert, just in case you followed the e-mail link, entered your legacy e-mail address and checked the checkbox…all accidentally. You can’t see it here, but the next step is where they send you a verification email, containing a link you have to click to confirm your opt-out request. If you’re lucky, the link is broken and you simply curse everything electronic and abandon ship. But if the link works, clicking it returns you directly to the page depicted above. And that is why we can’t have nice things.
