I’m beside myself with gratitude and excitement.
This morning, when I wrote my longish epistle pleading for your support, I was intent on telling you the story of the evolution of Here You Go as I’ve experienced it. And if my vantage point has been defined by anything so far, it’s the humbling power of the support of others.
What I didn’t mention in my earlier post is that Julie’s away for the weekend, up in the mountains with her dad and sister - without so much as a cell phone signal - and has no idea of the progress toward our funding goal you’ve given us today. She’s going to freak out when she gets back tomorrow night. And knowing that thrills me, because almost nothing makes the world feel more right to me than seeing Julie light up with excitement and happiness.
To everyone who’s making this happen: Thank you so damn much. I wish I could hug you from here. I can’t begin to tell you how much this means to me.
