Help put the “us” in “Austin” for SXSW 2010.
A couple of months ago, I submitted two very solid SXSW presentation proposals with a mix of three incredibly moving, inspiring people.

I’m excited as hell about both proposals. They both concern topics very close to my heart, we’re approaching them with engaging wit and intellect (insofar as we are able), and I think each is timely in its own way. SXSW chooses topics based, in part, on how many public votes a proposal receives. It’s competitive, and in each case we’re up against people with massive mailing lists and in some cases hundreds of thousands of followers. Honestly, I think we’ve got a shot at getting picked, but it’ll take some doing.
So I’m asking you to do me. Where “do,” of course, equals “vote for,” and “me,” translates to, “either or both of these fine proposals.” The SXSW panel picker system is going to ask you to register before you can vote, but registration is really fast and completely painless. Once you’re registered, voting is as easy as digging something. The entire round trip will take you less than 3 minutes.
