brentbillock asked: Did you try that trial version of OmniFocus yet? It's awesome. Especially when you hook it up to a Mail.app rule and start letting Siri (or Vlingo if you don't have a 4s) take dictated email messages that land in your Ofocus Inbox.
Would it surprise you to learn I have not?
Not to sound ungrateful to you for the suggestion (because I’m not!), but the last thing I, personally, need is a more refined to-do list solution. In fact, that Reminders screenshot was intended as tongue-in-cheek, self-denigrating humor concerning exactly that point.
The surprising truth, for me, is that I have found no significant life answers, through task-management refinement, beyond that I’m better off writing things down if I want to remember them. My spirit is a better guide, through any prioritization timeframe longer than a weekend, than anything with which I’ve ever tried to either buttress or supplant it. The only reason I use my iPhone, instead of a notebook or post-it notes, for reminders is that I have come to trust myself less, with age, not to lose the contents of my pockets.
