AKA when you have no intention of sharing your own ridiculous attempts to figure out something that for some reason stumps the hell out of you even though it’s probably basically the easiest thing in the world to understand, but you find that you’re making Keynote slides as part of your attempt to figure the stuff out, so you think maybe you’ll just go ahead and put together a helpful explanation for other members of your tiny minority who might be struggling with the same stuff you are, but then you run out of steam because you’re basically a tapeworm trying to make sense of higher-dimensional physics and there’s a lot of tapeworm stuff you should really be attending to anyhow, and so you decide to abort the whole thing but your ego squawks about just throwing away those two nice diagrams you spent an hour making, but somehow doesn’t squawk about the almost exclusively humiliating attempt to turn it into humor on the Internet.
