All Compass No Map
From a presentation I recently gave to a large group of college art students here in Pittsburgh, this sequence of eight slides traces my career “path”, in broad strokes, from formative years to present day. Obviously, it’s been a circuitous path, and the main point of my talk was that this is a common experience among creative professionals. At each point along the way, I also tried to reveal influential linkages and similarities between present situations and previous experiences.
